Privacy Policy

Spokane Skate Collective ("SSC", "we") runs spokaneskateco.com and the SSC mobile app. This page explains what information we collect and why.

What we collect

• Public posts you submit — session board posts, ticker messages, gear listings, skate spots, playlist submissions, event suggestions, game scores, photo submissions. These are visible to anyone using the site.
• Page views — anonymized counts of which pages are loaded. Used to understand what crew members care about.
• Push notification subscription — if you opt in, we store a subscription token issued by Apple or Google and your topic preferences (Sessions, Events, etc.). No phone number, no name, no email.
• Contact form messages — if you reach out via the Connect form, we store your message and any name/email you provide.
• Face data (My Footage) — if you create a face claim, we link your handle to a face our system has detected in skate footage. Detection is automated and only runs against footage uploaded by SSC.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• We don't track you across other sites.
• We don't run ads or share data with advertisers.
• We don't store your phone number or location.

Where it's stored

All data lives in Cloudflare D1 (a privacy-respecting database hosted by Cloudflare in the United States). Footage and photos live on a private server in Spokane, owned by SSC.

Push notifications

If you enable push notifications, your browser registers with Apple's or Google's push service. We never see your device identity — we only have an anonymous endpoint URL we POST to. You can unsubscribe anytime at /notifications.html or from your device's notification settings.

Your rights

• See what we have — email info@spokaneskateco.com.
• Delete your data — same email, or use the "Mark as Sold" / delete buttons on your own posts.
• Stop notifications — toggle off at /notifications.html at any time.

Kids

SSC is for skaters of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Posts to the public boards (sessions, ticker, spots, exchange) should not include real names or contact info for minors.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and post a notice on the homepage and via push notification.
